What a fabulous story about growing in Girl Scouting while living behind a "Fenced City."  In Oak Ridge, Tennessee, one needed permission from the Army General to start a Girl Scout troop!  Thus begins a story of amazing tenacity and loyalty to Girl Scouting.  MANY of you will have known Joyce from Tanasi GS Council to Arizona Cactus Pines Council, any GS Convention during her lifetime and countless other Girl Scout venues.  This is an historical account and it is well documented with over 30 footnotes, many quotations and a plethora of charming pictures with names, dates, and locations.
