    Certified by NGC MS-69 Mint Error.  Silver Eagle errors of any kind are scarce with the strict quality control standards that the U.S. Mint has.  This error is found on the obverse in the form of a strike thru error.  Strike thru errors occur when a foreign substance finds its way onto the coin die during the minting process. The error took place on both sides of the coin, making this coin even more unusual.
    Contains 1 oz of .999 fine Silver.
    The obverse features Adolph Weinman's famous Walking Liberty Design first used on the 1916-47 Half Dollar.
    The reverse design shows a heraldic eagle design. Above it are 13 stars, 1 to represent each of the original 13 colonies.
