1930 Suitcase
Because square shaped, hat box steamer trunks were strictly for the wealthy – implying the owner had many changes of clothing - this suitcase is a rare breed!
Marked USA Trunk Co.
, the original tan leather handle & closing mechanisms work well - no key is provided.
Interior lining is a lovely cranberry color & a top strap with working snaps secures items in the lid pouch. 4 green ribbons tie together to hold items stored in the body, & 3 “shoe size” pouches are sewn onto each side of the case.
Overall wear, scratches, & discoloration noted, as would be expected on a piece of this age –
circa 1930
. Note the tear on back exterior – no attempt has been made to restore the case.
Perfect for travel or a fun storage space for any room of the house.
