    Description

Very atypical of a short sword/knife and by its construction I would date it to the Crimean War, which was a world war unto itself in the 1850s.  Austrian military products have never been a high point in quality and this is a fine example of that, it's almost like a heavy duty corn knife and it may well have been used as such after the war.  The knife is 20.25 inches overall and the blade is 14 inches, 2.25 deep and almost 3/16ths wide but sharp, in fact, it's more like a machete'.  Weird.
    NOTE:
I do not do returns anymore as this site does not honor its fiduciary duties to its sellers in my opinion.  Having said this, I am easy to talk to and have a good rating for a good reason and will always work with buyers.
