Nineteenth Annual Invitation Tournament of the Newport Casino Lawn Tennis Association, at the Newport Casino
August 12th to 17th 1935, Free Programme
The front and the back of this program is signed by many of the professional players that are listed inside.
A few of the players are as follows with some of their history:
Don Budge - (John Donald ("Don or "Donnie") Budge)  won the Newport Casino Invitational in 1935. American Tennis champion.
Bryan Grant - (Bryan Moral "Bitsy" Grant, Jr. - American professional tennis champion.  His nickname was "Itsy Bitsy the Giant Killer"   Between 1930 an 1941 Grant was ranked nine times in the U.S. Ten Top (USLTA).
J. Gilbert Hall - Tennis champion
Lefty Bryan (Roert "Lefty" Bryan) - Tennis champion
Jess Millman
John McDiarmid - tennis champion
Guy Cheng
Tom Flynn
Hal Surface - twice ranked in the top ten by the Lawn Tennis Assoc.
B. Bell (Berkeley Bell) - Champion
Wilbur Hess
Henry J. Prusoff - top rated American Tennis player. He was ranked number 3 in the 1930s.
Gene Mako - Tennis champion
Henry M. Culley - American tennis player active in the 1930s.
Frank Parker - was a former World No. 1 American male tennis player of Polish immigrant parents who was active in the 1930s and 1940s. He won four Grand Slam singles titles as well as three doubles titles.
