FRESH OUT OF CINCINNATI OHIO    A HIGH END CUSTOM ORDER GERMAN MNUFACTURER GERMAN UNION CONTRACT HORSTER PESENTATION SWORD BELONGING TO COLONEL JOHN FOX WILTSEE WHO HELPED FORM THE DEFENCES OF CINCINNATI, COVINGTON AND NEWPORT FROM THE ATTEMPTED INVASION OF CINCINNATI THE FALL OF 1862.
WILTSEE FAMILY MIGRATED HERE IN THE 1840S TO CINCINNATI DUE TO THE RIVERS MIAMI CANAL ,  AND ROLLING HILLS AROUND THE CITY REMINDING THEM OF OVER THE RHINE,  GERMANY.
EXTENSIVE ARTICLES, MANY PHOTOS OF HIS LIFE ARE INCLUDED WITH THE SWORD.
IN THE 1850S, WILTSEE STAERTED A UNDERTAKERS AND FUNERAL HOME.
HE HAD KNOW HERE TO HOUSE HIS HORSES SO HE RENTED  A STABLE FROM JESSY GRANT  (FATHER OF U.S. GRANT ).
HIS BUILDING STILL IN BUSINESS TODAY AS OHIOS OLDEST ACTIVE FUNERAL HOME. A NATIONAL MARKER IS NOW ON THE BUILDING .
OVER THE YEARS HE ACCOMODATED OVER 10,000 FUNERALs  ALL BURIED IN SPRINGROVE CEMETERY.
HIS GRAVE ALONG WITH HIS FAMILY IS PHOTGRAPHED WITH HIS SWORD ON IT.  BORN CAMDEN NEW JERSEY   CAME TO CINCINNATI AS A TWO YEAR OLD   MANAGED AND OWNED THE FUNERAL HOME FROM 1836=1880   TURNED OVER TO FAMILY GENERATION AFTER GENERATION. CALLED THE WILTSEE- BUSBY FUNERAL HOME NOW....
MANY PRINTED  ARTICLES OF HIM AND OTHER  GENERALS ETC WITH HIM HELPED ORGANIZE AND BUILD 13 FORTIFICATIONS ON THE KENTUCKY SIDE.
HE HELPED RECRUIT MANY GERMAN TURNERS IN THE CITY TO JOIN THE WAR EFFORT.
