    Description

Here's eight (8) 9-1/2" small dinner plates, made by the Fostoria Glass Company of Moundsville, West Virginia.  The etched decoration on these is Fostoria's "June" Design (Plate Etching No. 279), which was produced in this pink color (which Fostoria called 'Rose') from 1928 until 1944.
These plates are just about 9-3/8" in diameter, and for the most part are in excellent shape, with virtually no scratches or scuffs on seven of the eight (very minor ones on a couple, but you've got to be looking pretty closely).  The eighth plate has an internal fracture on the rim, with a large scratch across the center (it's the last plate pictured), but it's still useable.  Beautiful plates, great color, one of Fostoria's most popular etches, seven of the eight are in great shape
; I've got way too much of this kind of thing in my life (and am constantly buying more of it), so these need a new home.
