    Description

Lightweight Harlequin - the same style as one of Bob's all time big sellers, but with a little twist.   I've used holly instead of maple, which is much whiter in color and a tad lighter. Unfortunately, holly is an even more expensive wood than ebony, but the effect is ... well ... striking, to say the least!
A beautiful pair of hammers made to last.
Only 10.5 grams, with leather on the holly side.
Buy two pairs or more of any design and they ship for free!
    About Us
Bob officially hung up his shop apron for the last time at the end of December.  Wolf Hill Woodworking is now the only manufacturer producing genuine Bob Bedard hammers, as well as several of my own design.  All our hammers are individually handcrafted and finished – no laser cut, factory production line hammers here!
What a ride it has been since that fateful day we met Bob in 2011.  My wife and I are so grateful to Bob for his generosity, sharing his wisdom and finely-honed craft with me, and allowing me to carry on his legacy of making the finest hammers I’ve ever played with.  We wish Bob many years of happy retirement.  God bless you, brother.
    Our History
My wife Dawn and I started Wolf Hill Woodworking with a line of handmade hotplates and jigsaw puzzles and were vendors at numerous craft fairs in upstate NY.  One of the venues we looked forward to most was the Old Songs Festival of Traditional Music & Dance in the village of Altamont every June.  Our booth was across from David's Dulcimers, where we learned to love both the music of the hammered dulcimer and the people who made and sold them.
Like many players, I had noticed that there were numerous hammer makers, and even more hammer designs out there.  I had quite a collection of hammers and had tried many different styles over the years.  Unequivocally, Bob Bedard’s hammers were the highest quality hammers I had ever used.  Bob is a true craftsman.
We had the pleasure of meeting Bob and his lovely wife Pauline at the Winter Creek Reunion Dulcimer Festival in Bennington, OK in 2011.  We immediately hit it off and started communicating over the phone and through email.  As a fellow woodworker, I offered to help him any way I could, and Wolf Hill Woodworking started selling Bob’s hammers on eBay and at festivals we attended.  Bob offered to teach me his techniques and I spent a week in his workshop learning from him.
In 2013, with Bob's blessing, I started practicing making hammers by making practice hammers, and Wolf Hill Woodworking’s felted Stealth Hammer was born.  Over the years I’ve refined my hammer making skills and we’ve built our business with the goal of continuing Bob’s legacy of producing the finest, individually hand-made hammered dulcimer hammers available, as well as our own line of stands and other folk music related products.
