This antique Bowie knife could be Civil War era I really do not know. The blade is 10.5 inches long and the handle is 5 inches long for a total overall length of 15 1/2 inches. It’s got pretty good way to it I’m sorry I did not weigh it but it is got to be over a pound. The blade is good and solid as you can see from all the pictures it seems to be a well-made knife.
