Old fashion fun. Limberjacks have been around for hundreds of years. Handmade by mountain folks who didn't have a Sears in town, and no ebay!

I make each of these, one at a time, in my small woodshop in Mt Airy, in the Appalachian region of North Carolina (Blueridge).
A little of my very soul goes into each and every one.
My Limberjacks have won blue ribbons the last two years at the Surry County Fair.
Hinged at the waist and knees and wings, these are fun filled dancing toys.
With a little practice at timing they also make good rhythm instruments.
Put on some dancing music, bluegrass works best. (Music CD included).
Sit on one end of the dancing board (included) with the other end sticking out.
In one hand hold the dancer by the magic dancing stick (included) above the end of the board
and tap the center of the board with your other hand the the beat of the music.
Now lower the chicken down until it's feet start touching the vibrating board, and hang on.
