These five US
Dollars all exhibit metal flow diagnostic characteristics for mint-made pre-strike planchet ‘clips’(incomplete planchets). Five different design/planchet types are represented. Two are 90% silver, two are copper-nickel clad, one is Cu-Zn-Mn-Ni. They cover a time span of 79 years. All are circulated (but not that much, as the pictures show).
The dates included are: 1921-P, 1922-P, 1975/76-D, 1978-P, 2000-P.
They could round out a clipped Planchet type set, start or add to a clip date set of dollars, or of error coins, in general.
They are offered for bids as a lot--the successful bidder will receive all five (all shown in the listing photos).
