  • Condition: The piston spring still has very good bounce, the piston moves freely, and the bugle does play (no mouthpiece included), although the tuning slide is stuck. The bugle has various solder repairs, dings, plating loss, etc., as shown in the photos.

    1930s) Ludwig Professional Single Horizontal Piston Silver Plated Bugle
    This comes with a case but no mouthpiece. The piston spring still has very good bounce, the piston moves freely, and the bugle does play, although the tuning slide is frozen and a bit warped out of original alignment.
    The bugle has various solder repairs, dings, warps, plating loss, etc., as shown in the photos. Both spit keys function and have some cork left on them.
    Serial number imprinted on the piston casing is 116089.
