About the artist:
I am an American artist who specializes in painting airplanes, railroads, and ships. My work has been selected for several juried national and international shows, and my paintings have been displayed in museums, galleries, and other public venues. My paintings have been published in magazines and magazine covers, and they have appeared in publications in the US and Overseas. In addition, some of my paintings have been licensed and published as the background for checks, as a Christmas card, and one has been published as a picture puzzle. I am a founding member of the American Society of Railway Artists, and an associate member of several other artists organizations. My objective is to capture the essence of a scene or a machine, but without distracting detail. I am retired from a 34 year career in the freight railroad industry, so trains are my favorite subject matter. You can see my advertisements in the current issues of Classic Trains Magazine.
I am listed in Ask Art.com's Blue Book of American Artists, and other places. Please note that I have over 1400 ebay feedbacks, 100% positive.
