    PCGS 1981-S SBA Dollar Missing Obverse Clad Layer MS62 RB
    PCGS 1981-S SBA dollar with an obverse missing clad layer. The coin is copper on the obverse side due to the clad layer missing before strike.
    A rare date/mint for for missing clad layer SBA dollars. We can't recall every having had a 1981-S missing clad layer SBA!
    MS62 red/brown with a few obverse small spots. There are some pre-strike scratches on the obverse, which were on the planchet before the coin was struck.
