This is a hand rubbed stain that gives the drum a unique look without putting any additional weight on the shell like a plated finish would. This allows the drum to breath and gives it a truer, livelier tone. It is very sensitive with a nice bottom end to it that makes it ideal for all styles of music. The Pork Pie Pork Rub Snare Drum also features 2.3mm triple-flange hoops which provide a bit of extra weight, helping to keep the drum in tune longer. This also gives you a sharp, defined rim-shot that hits you like a punch in the chest. This snare also features chrome plated brass tube lugs which give it a classy, timeless look while providing optimal tuning accuracy. As if all of this wasn't enough, this drum is also equipped with Remo heads for the best possible sound right out of the box.
