    Description

TreeWorks Chimes TREcoil Made in USA 1/4" Aluminum SpringTree Coil with Finger Cymbal and Light Triangle Beater (VIDEO)
THE SPRING THAT SINGS | Simply use the included stainless steel beater to achieve an array of metallic effects including a finger cymbal ding, a dark metallic coil hit, and a long scrape of the coil. Playing only takes one hand, so it's easy to mute or stretch the coil for even more sound manipulation.
PROUDLY MADE IN THE USA | The TREcoil is made from a 1/4" rod of solid Aluminum/Titanium alloy that is hand-bent and tested by ear in our workshop just north of Nashville, TN.
FORGED FOR SUPERIOR STRENGTH AND SOUND QUALITY | Each coil undergoes high temperature heat treating to harden the metal and to add depth to its sound. The mantle secures the coil in place with a super durable polyurethane coated braided steel cord to keep your triangles hanging year after year.
A SAFE AND CONVENIENT MOUNT | The coil is removable and interchangable with other hanging instruments, making this an invaluable addition to your percussion section. The included stainless steel beater slides easily into a hole drilled in the top of the mantle for storage between uses.
DIMENSIONS | The TREcoil is 5" in diameter and 19" inches in length and comes with one Light Triangle Beater (TREbtr-LTE) that is 8 1/4 x 3/8 x 1/4 inches in dimension.
TreeWorks Chimes. In the summer of 1996, was created by Mitch McMichen. It began in his garage in Nashville, Tennessee. The first set of chimes was made with a hacksaw and a hand drill. It didn't look like much, but that was the first step to crafting the perfect set of chimes. When asked about the early days of TreeWorks, Mitch replies, "I wasn't trying to start a company. I was trying to find a sound." Since then has grown to become the most respected chimes in the percussion world -- used by top studio and touring drummers and percussionist as well as the top 24 drum corps. These instruments are still handmade in Nashville, Tennessee and are unmatched in craftsmanship and sound quality. (It is of note that Mitch McMichen has earned Gold and Platinum records for his recording work in Nashville.)
