DURABLE HARDSHELL CONSTRUCTION: TSG Roller derby knee pads are made of sturdy hard shells and shock-absorbing EVA foam layers with incredible resistance to impacts and abrasions. Hardshell construction offers ultimate protection from friction-related injuries during a fall or from impacts caused by different objects on concrete or wooden ramps or from falls from a great height. Knee pads use heavy-duty tear-resistant nylon to withstand the rigors of the game.
COMPLETE KNEE PROTECTION: Durable and sturdy pads offer complete protection from cuts and scrapes. High-density PE knee cap offers the utmost toughness and security from impact forces such as hits and slams. Multilayers of ultra-soft EVA foam shields your knees from the shocks and vibrations. EVA has other benefits such as stress-crack resistance and low-temperature toughness. Skaters have the extra protection from a compression-molded foam pad with a raised top around the joint area.
PRE-SHAPED, HORSESHOE DESIGN: TSG roller derby pad's pre-shaped design conforms to natural body shape and secures well for a comfortable, close fit. Unique horseshoe shape provides ample coverage over the knees. The horseshoe shape and the special anti-slip silicone print on the interior of the padding keep the pad in place, without shifting and sliding during swift motions of the game. Ergonomic low-profile design does not interfere much with skating styles, especially crossovers.
VERSATILE OPEN-BACK: Double layer 360 velcro straps offer a tight, yet comfortable fit. Skaters will love the easy on-off capability offered by the versatile open-back design with neoprene butterfly velcro closure. Players can easily put on and take off the pads without removing their shoes. Adjustable bottom velcro straps have concealed easy snap and quick-release buckles. Double layer velcro has a flap that locks the end of the straps, preventing them from sticking out.
CERTIFIED FOR SAFETY STANDARDS: TSG gets it that athletes and professionals do not want any compromise when it comes to safety. TSG safety pads are made with the utmost quality and performance standards to meet the EN 14120:2003+A1:2007 Level 1 standard for the wrist, palm, knee, and elbow protectors. Designed in Switzerland, TSG knee sleeves are tested by an internal team of riders and certified by independent lab testing.
The roller derby 3.0 kneepads are new, improved has an appliqued knee cap manufactured from tough high density polyethylene (HDPE) and our proven fastening system. The pre-formed and on the knee patch cap provide the kneepads not only optimal protection, don't comply with the latest US Reglement, the riveted caps will too. The upper strap with a tab made from double-layered Velcro gives a good grip and securely fixed strap – End of the strap. This snagging that the strap does not have the clothes or when in contact with the enemies. Upper and lower straps can be adjusted by length adjustment precisely on the leg. A handy neoprene butterfly back closure and a quick release clasp on the bottom strap guarantee any Derby player pleasure to wear. Silicone prints on the inside of the shin pads also see to it that the pads perfectly on the kneecap. With the slim design and the wraparound EVA foam padding at the knee is the ultimate in knee pads.
