    Description

Here's a couple beautiful pieces of vintage elegant glassware which were made by the Fostoria Glass Company of Moundsville, West Virginia.  The blank is 6 oz. Saucer Champagne from Fostoria's #661 stemware line, and the etched decoration is Fostoria's "Virginia" (Etch #267); these particular glasses were produced from 1923 until 1929.
These glasses are just under 5" tall; they're about 3-3/8" across the top, and the foot's about 2-3/4" in diameter.  They actually only hold just about 5-1/2 ounces of liquid when filled to the brim (by my admittedly imperfect measuring methods), so 'functional capacity' is probably about 4-1/2 to 5 ounces.  Both glasses are in nice shape with no issues.  Beautiful glasses, great etch, they're in good shape, I've got way too much glassware in my life, and these need a new home.
