US Civil War M 1840 Heavy Saber Battlefield Pickup. Great chance to buy a sword for a low price!!! Start your collection with this awesome find. The markings have faded, possibly a “PDL or “Ames”. Shows signs of battle with a worn grip missing most of shark skin and wire very consistent with use in Calvary slashing and fighting. Pitting that has been cleaned many times, markings faded. Definitely has seen action but still solid and makes a great addition to a collection. If only this sword could talk! Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Retail Ground.
