Vintage Pakistani Military Brass / Copper Bugle Special Service Group.1966- 1970

Collectable brass trumpet with mouthpiece that was used between 1966 and the late 70s by Pakistani Special Units. (Special Service Group)
In beautiful vintage used patinated condition.
Size: long 33 cm x high 11 cm.
Horn diameter 10 cm.
We have not cleaned the horn!
After the Indo-Pakistani war of 1965, the Pakistani navy, on the advice of the American navy, decided in 1966 to set up its own special unit for warfare, the SSGN. The government of Pakistan had long been aware of the expansion of the Indian navy and recognized the need for unconventional warfare and special operations as a measure against the Indian Eastern Command in East Pakistan. That is why the Marine Underwater organized Demolition Teams (UDTs) that had the task of gathering intelligence during the operation of Midget submarines. Sajjad Ali Shah belonged to the remarkable officers of the Special Service Group of the Army (SSG)
