    Description

This is a Vintage (Almost Antique) Pre-WWII, Karl Ens Porcelain Factory of Volkstedt, Germany porcelain BIRD sitting on a branch singing or chirping or warbling.  It appears to be a robin.
The green 'windmill' like mark, on the bottom, dates it to Karl Ens pre-WWII (1919-1945). The mark is Karl Ens - an 'E' to the left, an 'N' on top, and an 'S' on the right.
It also has an impressed number, on the bottom, that appears to be a '38.'
It is also maked GERMANY in green on the bottom.
Size: about 4 1/2" tall to tip of beak and about 3 inches long (longest points) and about 2 1/2" wide (widest points).
Condition is used but very good.  Near the end of one branchand going underneath, there is a 'pale yellowish line' about 3/8" long - you can feel with your finger - an imperfection/crack/etc. Not a repair. Not visible when the bird is on display.  Bird has been displayed for decades.  See last photo.
    See all photos for condition.
