  • Condition: Nice condition. Vinyl has patina and marks where the latch meets the front of the case and where the handle adjoins the top. Bottom of case has some dirt marks. Interior is very a nice taffeta type of material. Elastic in the side pockets is good. Bottom has waterproof lining. Mirror shows some deterioration around the edges but overall nice condition. Decorative flowers good condition no missing parts. No tears or repairs.

    Description

    This lovely vintage travel cosmetics case is made of beige vinyl and has an impressive deep red lining. There are pockets edged with elastic around the interior of the case to secure bottles and jars. The mirror is a nice large size and it has some deterioration around the edges. Please see photographs; however, the mirror is still very nice as is the interior of the case. The handle is sturdy and secure. The latch works perfectly. I am saying that the color is beige but it could have been cream when it was new. There is a patina on the vinyl. There are some dirt spots on the vinyl that could probably be cleaned but I did not want to attempt that. The large lace and pearl flowers edged with gold that adorn the front of the case seem somewhat unique as I could not find another like it on the Internet. Please study the photographs for condition and send my any questions you may have.
    The case measures 10 1/2 inches x 6 inches x 8 inches. I am estimating the case is from the 1960s; however, I do not know that for sure.
