    Description

(No Date) MINT ERROR PCGS MS65 Double Denomination 1c OVERSTRUCK on 10c
The coin is a penny overstruck on a clad dime planchet. Brockage from the error causes an unknown date, but the numbers "1" and "9" can be seen upon closer inspection, so I am assuming it is a pre-2000's coin. There are remnants of a dime design on the coin, causing the error to be classified as a "double denomination" rather than a "penny on dime planchet."
The coin is a very rare, unique error and has an extremely high grade. The coin in encapsulated in a "Gold Shield" PCGS holder, which is much more save, protects the coin from theft, and allows for a close-up picture (last picture in the photos posted) as well as readable documents of the coin confirming legitimacy and grade. The scan code on the back of the holder should lead you directly to the PCGS website for further information and confirmation on the coin (you can use a phone camera to scan the code in order to be directed to the website).
Errors like this are extremely popular, rare and sell quite fast, so be sure to act fast before it's gone!
